Farukk, The Mystic
1) Please describe your character’s physical appearance.
Farukk stands about 6’8" tall and has a ruddy expression weathered by years of living in the outdoors, he has a distinguishing tribal tatoo over his right eye that appears to be some kind of dagger or tooth running from his graying hairline down his face ending at the curl of his lip. He wears his hair at shoulder length and keeps it well maintained, it was black when he was a younger man, but now is fading into gray. He has a muscular build and appears to keep himself in good shape despite being past his prime. He typically wears skins of animals to satisfy modern society’s need for modesty.
2) Please describe your character’s personality.
Farukk is a quiet man as long as he sees nothing that defiles what he holds sacred. Even then he sometimes will postpone his wrath for a more fitting time. Farukk feels, like many of his people that the land of this area belongs to the Shoanti and that all others are at best trespassers and at worst infidels worthy of feeling wrath for the crimes they have committed against the people who rightfully own Varisia.
3) Where is your character from (please at least someplace in Varisia, if not Sandpoint itself.)?
While Farukk is not from Sandpoint it has been his place of business for some time. He was born nearby to a Shoanti Tribe, the Shiikirri-Quah, his profession as a leather worker has left him to purchase goods and sell goods inside the town of Sandpoint from time to time, so while not a resident so to speak it is likely that he could be found there.
4) What is your characters profession, if not a ’prefessional adventureer"?
Farukk is both a leather worker and a merchant. He enjoys using items of his own creation as well.
5) If they arent from Sandpoint, when why is your character in Sandpoint at the beginning of the campaign?
As we open our story Farukk can be found returning from a hunting trip bringing back a load of skins into the town. During the autumn festival Farukk likes to observe the traditions especially the ones that he believes show some kind of respect for the place that he calls home.
